Charles Ray Boyd Obituary
Charles Ray Boyd Vancouver, Washington August 31, 1943 –
November 26, 2020 Charles “Ray” Boyd, 77, of Vancouver, WA,
died on Thur., November 26, 2020, in Vancouver, WA, surrounded
by his family. He was born on Aug. 31. 1943 in Delight, Arkansas.
He was blessed with two children and four step children. He was
a hard worker and had a kind and giving heart. He was a tough
as nails, but also kind. He loved to listen to talk radio, paint and
sculpt. He had an artistic and creative soul that was reflected in
his works. He proudly served his country for 22 years, and gave
his all to everything he did. An honorable man who walked with
the lord and loved his children and his wife. Towards the end of
his life he suffered ailments such as dementia, loss of eye sight,
cancer, losing the love of his life and other things that would have
made a lesser man succumb to crippling depression, but Ray
always persevered. Ray is survived by his daughter: Shiela, and
his stepchildren: Clayton, Cayla, Jason, and Tia. His
granddaughters: Michelle, Melissa, Jasmine, Mercedes, Sovie,
and his grandsons: Hayden, Peyton, and Milo. He was preceded
in death by his parents, John and Carrie, his brothers, Johnny,
Jim, Bill, and his daughter Leslie. Due to Covid-19 the memorial
service is not scheduled but will be held at Willamette National
Cemetery.
