Obituary

Mildred Lois Ives, 81, of Bryant, Arkansas was born to the late Ralph Kennemur and Lena Mae (Hixon) Kennemur on Thursday, February 25th, 1943, in Bryant, Arkansas. She passed away on Sunday, December 8th, 2024, surrounded by love. Mildred was a successful hairstylist for many years along with working at their family restaurant when she was younger. She loved being at church, being surrounded by flowers, and cooking for everyone; especially her grandkids and her late husband and daughter. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family and all her grandkids. 

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Oran “Morgan” Ives, and her daughter, Regina Duncan.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Michael Duncan (Hayley), Jennifer Ebert (Mike), and Jessi Duncan; her great grandchildren, Aiden and Connor Duncan, Emma and John Ebert, and Skylar Duncan, to be expected in April 2025; her sister, Sue Kendrick (George); along with a host of nephews, nieces, other family, friends, and church family who all love her very much and will miss her every day.

Her celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 19th, 2024, at 12:00 P.M. with her visitation one hour prior at Little Rock Church: 10701 Baseline Rd, Little Rock, AR 72209. She will be laid to rest next to her loving husband, Morgan, and beloved daughter, Regina, at Forest Hills Memorial Park following her service.
